Rainforest protection
We are protecting rainforest in Ecuador
I founded the Regenbogenkreis Project to make a real difference in the world and to contribute to the healing of our Earth.
We would not be able to survive without trees and forests. Without the rainforests, our climate would collapse and we would not have enough oxygen to breathe. The forests are full of miracles and beauty and give us precious fruits and medicinal plants.
For this reason, I have entered into a cooperation agreement with the Oroverde Tropenwaldstiftung (Oroverde Tropical Forest Foundation). Our first project, the purchase of rainforest at Naranjitos National Park in Guatemala, was successfully completed by the end of 2015. Through our donations, which are coupled to the sale of our products, 73.2 hectares of rainforest could be bought (1 hectare corresponds to 10,000 square meters).
Since 1.1.2016, we have been donating to a new project in Ecuador, which enables us to continue to permanently protect even larger areas. Since our product labels can not be changed so quickly (especially for ecological reasons), most products still have the note "This product protects 10 square meters of rainforest in Guatemala". In fact, the donation is now going to the Sarayaku project in Ecuador. In future, the following information will be on all our products that are part of the rainforest protection programme: "This product protects 690 square meters of rainforest in Ecuador."

For each of the following products purchased, we protect 690 square meters of rainforest in Ecuador:

Up to now we have already been able to give long-lasting protection to over 2.147.483.647 square metres of rainforest !
So our customers contribute to the preservation of the rainforest just by buying from us.
My vision is that more and more companies will invest their energy and money in conserving our natural resources instead of enriching themselves personally.
